Training Specialist

Ho Chi Minh City

Reporting to the HR director, your main responsibility is to implement training and development strategy to improve employee's performance and business capability to achieve the business objectives and the company's development requirements.  

1. Training plan

  • Organize, develop and source training programs to meet specific training needs
  • Build up competency matrix in collaboration with department leads
  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs
  • Develop and update training materials such as manuals and handbooks

 

2. Training implementation

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
  • Coordinate the logistics preparation to organize training courses in professional way
  • Conduct and improve onboarding process for new-hires to facilitate their good integration with the company
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology

 

3. Report & Database

  • Track and report on training outcomes and effectiveness
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
  • Manage database, reports, training history records, training provider list, library of hard and soft copy books, materials, learning resource with clear, tidy folders and index

 

4. Other tasks:

  • Advise the management on changes/ solutions to improve and enhance the inspiring working environment when necessary.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the board of directors.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Having from 2 years of experience in HR training & development function in multinational organizations
  • Possess an HR mindset: human-oriented and passionate in developing people’s potentiality
  • Excellent coordination skill: involve, follow up with stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation
  • Confidentiality commitment
  • Be able to motivate, inspire and enhance a learning culture with initiatives
  • Good communication and facilitation skills;
  • Good organizational skills, resourceful and proactive;
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems with can-do and result-oriented attitude;
  • Being careful, detail-oriented, and keen on working with figures
  • High level of verbal and written English skills;
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Spreadsheet, and Presentation software)
